Method Note: Evaluation

We evaluate submissions through a two-layer process. First, automated profiling checks technical baseline: crash rate, load time, battery draw. Second, our curators play for a minimum of 4 hours. We don’t measure engagement by metrics; we measure by forgetting to check the time.

Robustness: Games must pass a "long-session" test (no forced breaks, no logical dead-ends).
Limits: We do not accept games with unskippable cutscenes over 15s. Respects user time.
Trade-off: This excludes great narrative games with slow pacing. Our niche is gameplay-first.
